Today your Xian sightseeing will begin with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Warrior and Horses provide a large number of collections of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses, ancient weapons and chariots made 2,000 years ago for admiration.

After lunch, our guide will bring you for a tour at Huaqing Pool. Huaqing Pool, also known as Huaqing Hot Springs, is located at the northern foot of Mount Lishan. This garden-styled palace with collections gardens with hot springs, pavilions, bridges, lakes and historic inscriptions to provide appealing scenery and the romantic story between Emperor Xuanzhong (685-762) and his consort (618-907) Yang Guifei draw numerous tourists there.

Your sightseeing will begin with Ancient City Wall after breakfast at the hotel. Ancient City Wall is a one of the must-visit attraction and a symbol of ancient Xian. It is the largest and best preserved Ming Dynasty city wall. Visiting the City Wall you can not only learn city construction and architectural arts in ancient times, also you will get beautiful views of Xian City.

Then we will proceed to visit Shaanxi History Museum. It is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China. Housing a large collection of historic and cultural relics, including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects, Shaanxi History Museum will give you a better idea about ancient Chinese history and culture.

The next scheduled destination is Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a famous Buddhist pagoda in Xian of historical significance. Built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Big Wild Goose Pagoda is where to admire Buddhist Religion culture and its attractive architecture.

After dinner, our guide will transfer you to the railway station for the train K1009 to Xining. The train sets out at 20:14PM and arrives in Xining at 7:38AM.

Upon your arrival in Xining, our guide will meet you at the railway station and then bring you to have breakfast. After breakfast, we will start out to Ta’er Monastery. Ta’er Monastery is also known as Kumbum Monastery. It is situated in Huangzhong County 25 kilometers away from Xining. The monastery was founded in 1577 to remember Tsong Khapa, founder of the Yellow Hat Sect of Buddhism. With its imposing architectures and construction, fascinating artworks of butter sculpture, barbolas and splendid murals, its distinct ethnic life and culture, Ta’er Monastery has been a famous Buddhist temple to admire.

After lunch, we will begin with Jiutianyuan Women's Temple. It is a famous Taoist women's temple in local Xining. Next we will move to visit Dongguan Mosque. The Xining Dongguan Mosque is the largest and best-preserved mosque in the city of Xining. Also the Xining Dongguan Mosque is one of the four great mosques in the northwest China. Dongguan Mosque was first constructed in the year of 1380 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Dongguan Mosque attracts people there by its unique Islamic culture and featured architectures. Architectures of the mosque are constructed into the combined styles of Chinese traditional and Islamic architectural art.

Then we will move to explore at the Muslim Street. Walking along the Muslim Street, you will see stores that selling various kinds of items, stalls and restaurants that providing delicious Muslim food and snacks. This is a great chance to get to know local Muslim life and culture in Xining.

After dinner, our guide will transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will bring you to visit the alluring Qinghai Lake. Located in the northeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the northwest of Xining, Qinghai Lake is the largest inland lake and salt water lake in China with an area of 4,456 square kilometers. Surrounded by four magnificent mountains with the vast grasslands connecting the lake and the mountains, the limpid and peaceful Qinghai Lake attracts numerous tourists there for its natural beauty. Qinghai Lake provides a lot to see and enjoy. The best time to travel to Qinghai Lake is summer when the surrounding mountains and grasslands are blanked with green plants, colorful flowers and flocks of cattle and sheep. Qinghai Lake gets its most spectacular scenery when the surround farmland is carpeted with blooming rape flowers. The Bird Island and biking around Qinghai Lake are the other two major attractions there.

After that, our guide will transfer you to Lanzhou to continue your trip. The first site to see in Lanzhou will be White Pagoda Hill Park. White Pagoda Hill Park is a famous site in Lanzhou. It gets its name by the White Pagoda Temple inside it. The park was constructed in Yuan Dynasty. Now the White Pagoda Hill Park attracts tourists there for its elegant White Pagoda Temple and other characterized natural features. The park is a great place to get views of the magnificent Yellow River and Lanzhou City.

Then we will come to Waterwheel Park. The park is located along Yellow River. Waterwheel Park is consisted of two waterwheels, a cofferdam, the recreation area and a house of water mill. The two traditional waterwheels are the main attraction in the park. They were used to irrigate farmlands around Lanzhou and now they are historical exhibitions in the park.

The last scheduled destination to visit today will be Xiguan Mosque. The mosque was constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Architectures of the Xiguan Mosque are of strong Islamic styles but have also combined Chinese traditional art. Xiguan Mosque is an important place for local Lanzhou Muslims to do prayers and attend religious activities.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, our guide will bring you to visit the Yellow River Stone Forest (With a cruise ship).The Yellow River Stone Forest is located in Baiyin City and is about 140 kilometers away from Lanzhou. Because of geological processes like crustal movement, wind and rain erosion, there develops numerous stone forests in different shapes and postures. With a combination of the magnificent Yellow River, stone forests, desert, oasis, farmlands and other surrounding landforms, Yellow River Stone Forest Scenic Area is a great site for sightseeing, drifting, rock climbing and adventure.

After dinner, you will take the train K120 from Lanzhou Railway Station to Xian. The train takes off at 9:40PM and arrived in Xian at 7:02AM the next morning.

When you arrived in Xian, our guide will pick you up at the railway station and then bring you to have breakfast. After breakfast, we will go to visit Great Mosque. This is one of the oldest and largest mosques in Xian. Famed for its long history and unique architecture which is a combination of Islamic and traditional Chinese style, Great Mosque is a popular attraction for tourists coming to Xian.

Next we will have a free strolling at Muslim Street. It is a renowned Muslim community in Xian. At Muslim Street, you will not only taste numerous delicious local Xian snacks and Muslim food, also you will experience the strong Muslim atmosphere and their lives there.

Then we will go to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square where we can appreciate the magnificent architectures of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Built in the ancient Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the Bell Tower and Drum Tower have thousands of years’ history with historical and cultural significance.

Small Wild Goose Pagoda will be the next destination. It is one of the two significant Buddhist pagodas in Xian. With its delicate appearance, elegant architecture and peaceful environment, Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a popular site for tourists.

Xian Museum will be the last stop to conclude your tour. This is a large municipal museum with as many as 130,000 cultural relics collected and exhibited.
