This in-depth Beijing tour starts with the exploration of Tiananmen Square. As the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square can hold over one million people. Next we will proceed to the Forbidden City. It is the best-preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. With the magnificence of royal architectures and imperial treasures, Forbidden City is a must-visit attraction in Beijing.

Then we will go to visit the spectacular of Temple of Heaven. It was firstly built in the year of 1420 and has a long history now. Temple of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing, which was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. Your exploration for today will begin with the great Badaling Great Wall. Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Badaling Great Wall is the most well-preserved and the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. As a symbol of Chinese civilization and one of the wonders created by Chinese people, Badaling Great Wall is a must-visit attraction in Beijing. We also will visit a Jade Shop near the Badaling Great Wall. Around Badaling Great Wall there is a quite famous Jade Shop and we will arrange a short stop at this shop. You will see a lot of exquisite Jade artworks and you may like to buy some as gifts for your friends.

After the Great Wall, we will transfer to the next destination Beijing Olympic Stadium. Beijing Olympic Stadium is also known as Bird’s Nest. Used to be the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, now the stadium acts as the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. Also it is a popular tourist site in Beijing, attracting people by its unique design and humanistic architecture. It would be great to take some beautiful pictures there.

After breakfast a rickshaw ride at Hutongs and Siheyuan is arranged for the starting of today’s pleasant trip. Siheyuan (Ancient Courtyard) is a classical architecture style of residential housing of Beijing citizens dated from the Ming Dynasty. The narrow streets between the Siheyuan are called Hutongs. A single implementation of Siheyuan comprises of garden surrounded by four houses and protected by high walls. As an important cultural element of old Beijing, Hutongs and Siheyuan are great choices for people to get to know Beijing local history and culture. A rickshaw ride among Hutongs and Siheyuan is just the very right method to get deep into the ancient alleys to discover and experience the local ancient Beijing life and culture they bear.

Then we will go for further exploration of ancient Beijing at Yandaixiejie, a famous ancient street in Beijing. There are numerous stores and shops lining on both sides of the street selling various kinds of collections of souvenirs and gifts.

Then we will go to visit Drum Tower. Drum Tower was built in Yuan Dynasty. As it was 46.7 meters high and was placed on brick base, the Drum Tower is a prominent construction in Beijing. As the symbol of old Beijing, Drum Tower is a great site to experience the ancient atmosphere of Beijing.

Summer Palace would be the next destination. Having a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces, Summer Palace attracts tourists there for its natural beauty and historical sites.

Then we will proceed to Wofo Temple, a Buddhist Temple located near Beijing Botanical Garden. The temple is best known as the location of the 'Recumbent Buddha', a large sculpture of the Buddha lying down created in 1321.

Then we will have a nice trip to the famous Fragrant Hills Park. Abundant in natural beauties and cultural relics, Fragrant Hills Park is a hot attraction in Beijing. As one of the best places to see red leaves, Fragrant Hill is especially renowned for its alluring scenery of red leaves in autumn.
