Detailed Itinerary: Today, you will be transferred to the ferry to take a boat trip to Macau. Once arrive you will visit Macau’s popular attractions including A Ma Temple, Section of the Old City Walls, Na Tcha Temple, Largo do Senado, Ruins of St. Paul's, Mount Fortress, Macau Tower (picture stop), and the Venetian Macao. Later you will continue your tour to Zhuhai by coach.
A-Ma Temple: A-Ma Temple is located at the bottom of Pehua Hill in the southeast region of the Macau Peninsula. The temple was built in 1488 during the Ming Dynasty and is the oldest Buddha Temple in Macau. It was built to commemorate Mazu, a sea goddess who blesses the fishermen. As one of the hottest tourist spot in Macau, A-Ma Temple is a must-see when travel to Macau.
Section of the Old City Walls: The Section of Old City Walls is remains of Macau’s military defense structures, the old city wall of Macau that was constructed as early as 1569 to defense outside attacks by the Portuguese. The remaining city wall has a length of 18.5 meters, a height of 5.6 meters, and a width of 1.08 meters. The uniqueness of the city wall lies in the material to build the wall. They are built in a rammed earth structure with materials of clay, sand, rice straw, rocks, and oyster shells.
Ruins of St. Paul's: The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church.
