6 Day Changsha, Fenghuang and Zhangjiajie Tour

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will be transferred from Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang where you will visit Phoenix Ancient Town (excluding the 9 scenic spots). Next you will board the Tuojiang River cruise for sightseeing the views of Ancient Fenghuang spread out on both banks. Later you will visit the Phoenix Hong Bridge and Shiban Street. Enjoy the beautiful city night view for the rest of the evening.

Phoenix Ancient Town: Fenghuang County is located in Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. It has an exceptionally well-preserved ancient town that harbors unique ethnic languages, customs, arts and a lot of distinctive architectural remains of Ming and Qing styles.

Tuojiang River: Tuojiang River, the largest river in the Fenghuang county, is one of the branches of Wushui River. Originating from Nanshan Gorge of Dusha, Kuhe, Tuojiang River flows from west to east in Fenghuang county.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, you will be transferred from Fenghuang to Zhangjiajie. Your first stop will be the Tianmen Mountain by one-way cable car, one-way escalator and one-way eco-car. There you will visit the world’s most terrifying Ghost Path and Skywalk.

Tianmen Mountain National Park: Tianmen Mountain is a mountain located within Tianmen Mountain National Park, Zhangjiajie, in northwestern Hunan Province, China.

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will start your tour by visiting Tianzi Mountain where you will take a ride on Bailong Lift (the fastest and highest outdoor lift in the world) to go up there. Next you will proceed to Helong Park and West Sea Stone Forest. Then you will see the sights of Avatar Mountain, Mihuan Stageand No.1 Bridge. Finally you will pay a visit to Yuanjiajie. 

Tianzi Mountain: Tianzi Mountain is named after Xiang Dakun who led the local farmers' revolt and called himself Tianzi meaning the Son of Heaven.

Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is famous as a tourist destination in Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It becomes more popular as the Southern Sky Pillar inspired the floating mountains in the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar.

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will visit the Golden Whip Stream and Water Surrounding Four Gates. Later you will hike Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon where you can enjoy a magnificent view of mountains, cliffs and forests. Also you will walk across the world’s longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge which was built between two mountains of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.

Golden Whip Stream: The Golden Whip Stream is one of the most attractive travel spot in Zhangjiajie.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is located in Sanguansi in the Tujia Minority Township. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers from Wulingyuan Scenic Area and covers a total area of 51 square kilometers, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is the newest attraction in Zhangjiajie and was opened to tourists in 2010.

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will take a high-speed train from Zhangjiajie to Changsha. Once you arrive you will stroll around Huangxing Walking Street and Tai Ping Street. After dinner you will be transferred to the airport for departure. 

Huangxing Walking Street: As with most any Chinese city, Changsha has a walking street. The front of Huangxing Walking Street sprouts from Jiefang Road and stretches south to Chengnan Road. In many ways the center of the city revolves around walking street. There is shopping, snacks, a concert stage at the center square, throngs of people and always something interesting to gawk at.
