5 Days Xian and Luoyang Peony Blossom Tour

Detailed Itinerary: After you have finished your breakfast at the hotel, your tour today will start with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Warrior and Horses provide a large number of collections of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses, ancient weapons and chariots made 2,000 years ago for admiration.

Make a stop at Three-Color Ceramic Factory to learn about the process of making terracotta. Then you will be taken back to the downtown to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square which is famous for the pagoda and the music fountain.

Our last destination will be Muslim Street, a renowned Muslim community in Xian. At Muslim Street, you will not only taste numerous delicious local snacks and Muslim food, you will also experience profound Muslim cultural atmosphere.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station and relax on the bullet train to Luoyang. Once arrive you will be transferred directly to Luoyang National Peony Garden. Take a nice stroll about the garden where you will enjoy rows and rows of Peony flowers in different colours. The best time to visit is from April to May when the Luoyang Peony Fair is held.

After you will enjoy the delicious halal barbecue at the Barbecue Street. At last you will be transferred back to your hotel for a good rest. 

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit Longmen Grottoes. These grottoes, together with the Yungang Grottoes in Datong and the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, are the three major cave clusters in China. In 2000, Longmen Grottoes was included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lots of historical materials concerning art, music, religion, calligraphy, medicine, costume and architecture are kept in Longmen Grottoes. Longmen Grottoes are a great place to get close to Chinese history and culture.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will head to Chan River Muslim District to experience the local Muslim life and culture. Also you will visit mosques in this Muslim District. Later you will return to Xian by bullet train.

Detailed Itinerary: This morning you will set out for the Great Mosque. This is one of the oldest and largest mosques in Xian. Famed for its long history and unique architecture which is a combination of Islamic and traditional Chinese style, Great Mosque is a popular attraction for tourists coming to Xian.

Continue your way to the Ancient City Wall, a famous landmark in Xian. The City Wall is the largest and best preserved Ming Dynasty city wall. Visiting the City Wall, you can not only learn city construction and architectural arts in ancient times. Also you can get some good views of Xian city. You tour concludes with a visit to Xian Museum, a large municipal museum with as many as 130,000 cultural relics collected and exhibited.

Later our guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. Wish you a pleasant trip back home!
