Jinan Nanguan Mosque

Jinan Nanguan Mosque was converted from the traditional Chinese courtyard house. In total, the mosque covers an area of 200 square meters of which 60 square meters are covered by buildings. Nanguan Mosque is consisted by main buildings of 3 prayer halls, 6 lecture rooms and 2 bathrooms. Both the front gate and the prayer halls face south.

Nanguan Mosque is the only mosque in Lixia district in the city of Jinan. It was originally a “smaller mosque” administrated by Jinan Grand Southern Mosque. In the mosque stand three stone steles, one of which is preserved from the Ming dynasty and of incalculable historical value.
