Anji Grand Bamboo Forest

Anji Grand Bamboo Forest was one of the well-known scenes in the Film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The bamboo forest is the back drop for martial arts sequence between Zhang Ziyi and Chow Yun Fat. Anji Bamboo Forest is approximately 1 hours 30 minutes from Hangzhou and is one of the largest bamboo forests in China. The entrance fee to the forest is 20RMB and there is also a Bamboo Museum where the entry fee is 70RMB.







Zhangjiajie National Forest Park


Zhangjiajie National Forest Park that is situated in Hunan Province became a hit with tourists overnight after the launch of the worldwide hit Avatar. The Hallelujah Mountain scenes were shot right in the park. You can visit the fictional world of Pandora yourself and capture the wonderful scenery from the mountains just like the Na-vis. Within the park you can visit the famous sites Yellow Dragon Cave, Baofeng Lake and Tianmen Mountain.





Wulong Karsts

The release of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction has made the Wulong Karsts an instant must visit attraction. There is an estimated 5 minute scene in the film where the transformers are battling it out. The Wulong Karsts are enlisted as a UNESCO Heritage site. The karsts are located on the borders of Wulong County in Chongqing. The Karsts consist of three areas: Three Natural Bridges, Lotus Cave and Houping Giant Doline.







Mission Impossible 3

Tom Cruise reprised his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 3 and took his spy mission to Shanghai! Tom Cruise can be seen tearing up the streets of Shanghai’s most famous locations such as the Pudong area. The most notable attractions captured in the film were Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Building, The Bund and Huangpu River. To top it all off there was also part of the film that was filmed in one of China’s famous ancient Water Towns Xitang, where you can catch a glimpse of the ancient architecture and beautiful scenery.
