Tip 1 : Opening time of the Yueyang Tower

Then the administrative department of the Yueyang Tower has made two opening time system for the tourist which are in season and off season, check the details below,

A. In season (1th, May to 31th, September)

1. The opening time of the main scenic area is between 7:00 o’clock to 18:30 pm everyday.

2. The opening time of the main building is between 7:00 o’clock to 18:30 pm everyday.



B. Off season (1th, October to 30th, April)

1. The opening time of the main scenic area is between 7:30 am to 18:00 o’clock everyday.

2. The opening time of the main building is between 7:30 am to 18:00 o’clock everyday.

Tip 2 : Attraction Tickets

The Yueyang Tower has a preferential ticket system if you are a student or the special guest, then you could enjoy the free or discount ticket. Check the details below:

A. Preferential ticket

1. The old person who is 70 years (including 70 years old) old could visit in free of charge with valid documentation.

2. The children under 1.2 meters tall could visit in free of charge.



3. The college, middle, primary school students could enjoy 50% preferential ticket with student ID card ( this policy doesn’t include the adult education students).

B. Regular ticket

The regular ticket is in charge 80 RMB for each person.

Tip 3: Transportation

A. Bus
The nearest station of Yueyang Tower is the Yueyang Tower station and The park of Yueyang Tower station. And There are a few buses could pass by these two places, the 23 and 25 bus could reach the Yueyang Tower station. The 15, 19 and 31 bus could land the park of Yueyang Tower station.

B. Taxi
The Yueyang Tower is very close to the train station, just need to cost 10 RMB. So don’t be deceived and be careful.

Tip 4: Best Time for Traveling

Yueyang belongs the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river, it is the subtropical and warm monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 17 degrees and the annual average precipitation is 1302 millimeter. Therefore Yueyang city has long Warm period and short cool period, have four seasons.
