The common forest trees include somewhat crooked red gum tree growing chiefly along rivers, masson pine, litsea cubeba that is a unique aromatic plant resource in our country, camphor tree, castanopsis eyrei forest as one of the main forest types in Guniujiang Nature Reserve, cyclobalanopsis glauca and many more. There was a smell of healthy properties of a range of substances from the trees pervading the atmosphere. It is the best suitable place for body-building, science education, scientific research and travelling.
There are countless varieties of biological species, including many precious and rare animals and many rare plants. Depending on incomplete statistics, there're over 500 species of xylophyta like Chinese tulips specially protected under the Central Government, and more than 200 species of higher animals. The very fact of its complex natural conditions, abundant biological resources and well-preserved ecosystems makes it become the germplasm pools for wild fauna and flora conservation in eastern China.
