Huangpu River, also known as the mother river of Shanghai, is the final branch of Yangtze River before it flows into the East China Sea. Ranking as the largest of Shanghai, it has a length of about 114 kilometers. As a matter of fact, Shanghai City is mainly divided into two parts by the Huangpu River, and that is what we usually called “Pudong” and “Puxi”.
