Enchanting Meihuazhou Scenic Spot

Meihuazhou Scenic Spot is located in the Fengqiao Town in the Nanhu District of Jiaxing city in Zhejiang Province; it is the cradle of Majiabang culture, Songze culture and Liangzhu culture. The famous Shifo Temple of the Southern Dynasties was built in the place, shaped like the five valves. The ancient temple was nestling cozily in a sea of fresh green vegetation. The temple is the beautiful place in which the winding paths would lead you to secluded spots, and flowers will stir you with their fragrance.



The rivers of all shapes and sizes weaved in and out through the scenic spot, as of they were plum blossoms. Hence the name Meihuazhou. Two millennium old ginkgo trees face each other across the river, with the artistic conception of "being separated by the clear water, they looked at each other with love in their eyes without words." The old ginkgo trees are of longevity. Visitors coming to Meihuazhou must roam about under the millennium old ginkgo trees. As the saying goes, the walk under the ginkgoes goes live to be ninety-nine.
