Guangzhou Opera House


The Guangzhou Opera House has been described as one of the most amazing architectures of the century. The design of the opera house is the work of world famous architecture, Zaha Hadid.
Guangzhou Opera House is a new cultural building built in Guangzhou. The opera house is located on the banks of the Pearl River. It is the third largest performing centre in China. Built at the foot of Zhujiang New Town towers in Haixinsha Square, the opera house complex is the central part of the cultural development in Guangzhou. It has brought along with it the popularity of the Guangdong Provincial Museum and which are close by library.






Opera House of National Grand Theatre

The National Grand Theatre, also known as Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts is surrounded by an artificial lake. The spectacular glass and the titanium egg shaped design came from the famous French architect Paul Andreu. The theatre seats 5,452 people, the middle is Opera house, the east is Concert hall, and the west is Drama theatre. The dome measures 212 meters in east-west direction, 144 meters in north-south direction, and is 46 meters in height. Guests arrive in the building after walking through a hallway that goes underneath the lake.





Shanghai Grand Theatre

Since its opening on August 27, 1998 the Shanghai Grand Theatre has successfully staged 4,000 performances for over 7 million audiences. With a total investment of RMB 1.2 billion Yuan, the theatre covers a total area of 2.1 hectares. The theatre is 40 meters in height. The theatre consists of a 1,800 seat main theater, 600 seat medium-sized theater and a 300 seat small theater. The Shanghai Grand Theatre has one of the largest automatic stage with the best world class facilities and the best functions in the world. The theatre uses top audio and lighting facilities from world-renowned professional companies.





Hangzhou Grand Theatre


Designed by internationally famous Canadian architect Carlos Ott, the Hangzhou Grand Theater covers 100,000 square meters with a total construction area of 55,000 square meters. It builiding consists of an opera house, a concert hall, a multifunctional hall, an open air stage and a culture square.
