Mingyong Glacier is one of the most notable low altitude glaciers of Meili Snow Mountain. The glacier stretches as long as 11.7 kilometers with an altitude of 2,660 meters above the sea level and with the average width at 500 meters. Mingyong Glacier is situated on Kawagebo Peak.
Tibetan Pilgrims Worshipping Meili Snow Mountain
Devoted Tibetans will make their pilgrimage around Meili Snow Mountain. Tibetans believe that Kawagebo Peak is sacred and during the winter, Tibetans from Qinghai Province, Sichuan and Gansu Province gather together to worship.
